PATRIOT VIPER VENOM DDR5 32GB 6200MHz Memory Review

AIDA64

I said at the start of this review, that this kit was fast, on paper, and it was fast in our testing too, storming ahead of every other kit that we have for our data comparison in our read tests.

It was the same story when looking at write performance, with the Viper Gaming Venom kit comfortably ahead by over 11,000MB/s.

It’s no surprise that the copy speed showed us a very similar story. It’s nice to see DDR5 having a bit more of a reason to be considered when compared to DDR4 now too.

A big thing for DDR5 was how loose the timings are in comparison to DDR4, but in terms of latency, it makes up in the sheer speed of the bandwidth throughput. The faster kit from Patriot Viper shows a clear distinction between itself and the slower kits we tested.
