Persona 5 Reaches Another Major Sales Milestone
In its 2025 Integrated Report, Sega revealed a new sales milestone for Persona 5 and its related titles. The series has now sold 13 million copies in total, including the main game and its spin-offs. This is an impressive achievement, considering that the original title is a long Japanese role-playing game.
Growing Numbers
In August, it was announced that Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal together had sold 10.46 million copies. This means that the spin-offs — Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight, Persona 5 Strikers, and Persona 5 Tactica — have sold a combined total of about 2.54 million copies.
Back in 2023, Sega confirmed that Persona 5 Strikers had surpassed 2 million copies sold. At that time, the total for the entire series stood at 10 million copies.
The same report also shows that Persona 3 Reload has sold 2.07 million copies. It also notes that the Persona series, which began in 1996, has expanded far beyond video games — now including anime, manga, and other media.
Fans are eagerly waiting to learn what comes next, especially hoping for the long-awaited Persona 6, which has not yet been announced.
In other news, rumors suggest that a Persona 4 Remake will be released on Xbox Game Pass on launch day.
