Phanteks Announces Affordable XT M3 mATX Chassis
Phanteks has just revealed its latest PC case, the micro-ATX XT M3. It’s a great thing to see, as I still think that micro-ATX is an underserved form factor, not just in the case market, but there’s a lack of motherboards too. Still, if you do find a decent mATX motherboard, the new XT M3 is here for you!
This case was first revealed at Computex 2025, and Phanteks says it is “designed for gamers and PC builders who demand premium features in a compact footprint.”
Phanteks XT M3 Micro-ATX
The XT M3 promises to deliver high-end performance and exceptional airflow, which, given the fantastic track record of Phanteks, I’m inclined to believe. The design looks great too, keeping that iconic Phanteks design DNA, but in a more compact and stylish form factor, given they have a history of making some truly massive PC cases.
Compatibility
The XT M3 features tool-less panels for effortless access and fast builds, making it easier than ever to assemble or upgrade your system. While maintaining a compact footprint, the XT M3 boasts extensive support for up to nine 120mm fans and features dedicated space for a 360mm radiator at the top, along with triple fan mounts at the bottom for direct GPU cooling. It provides generous clearances, allowing for a CPU cooler height of 175 mm, a GPU length of up to 430 mm (without front fans), and a GPU width of 175 mm. Additionally, the case features a spacious cable routing area and is fully compatible with Rear-Connect mainboards, ensuring excellent cable management.
