The PH-TC12DX unit we were sent is the blue version. It features a vivid blue heatsink and some Phanteks branding at the top.
The profile of the heatsink isn’t too wide and we can see quite a large fin spacing too.
The heatsink also has a rather large gap down the middle which is quite strange looking.
The base is nickel plated copper and all the heat pipes are also nickel plated copper.
The base comes pre-fitted with a mounting screw bracket.
The heatsink is grooved quite well to allow the fan to slot into place almost perfectly.
Compared to the heatsink the included fans are quite “dull” in terms of the shade of the blue. However, they still match reasonably well.
The fans appear to be based on the PH-F120S fans that we reviewed a while back.
The fans are pretty high performance and shift quite a lot of air, up to 63CFM, whilst going up to 1800RPM. They offer a pretty good noise/performance ratio as our review showed.
I also like that they cables are disguised right up to the motor.
