Philips 27″ 27B2U6903 4K Thunderbolt 4 Business Monitor Review

I’m a big fan of Philips, as they make so many great displays, from budget office workhorses, to flagship massive OLED monsters to take your gaming to the next level. The Philips 27″ 6000 Series 27B2U6903 monitor is designed to enhance workflow productivity with its 4K UHD resolution and a range of features aimed at comfortable and efficient use. For those who work from home or want something nice for the office, it ticks a lot of boxes.

The 27-inch IPS display delivers accurate colour reproduction and wide 178/178-degree viewing angles. It supports 1.07 billion colours and uses 12-bit internal processing to produce smooth colour gradations and detailed images. The UltraClear 4K UHD resolution (3840 x 2160) ensures that images and graphics are displayed with precision, making it ideal for improving productivity and content creation.

This monitor includes several features focused on user comfort and productivity. The monitor features a SmartKVM function for easy switching between sources and MultiView, which enables simultaneous dual connection and viewing. Connectivity is a strong point, with Thunderbolt 4 providing lightning-fast data transfer, high-resolution video support, multi-stream transport, and up to 100W of power delivery. Additionally, a built-in RJ45 port allows you to connect all your peripherals and networking devices directly to the monitor, eliminating the need for multiple cables. The ergonomic design is enhanced by a Compact Ergo Base that allows for tilting, swivelling, and height adjustment. Additional features include an earphone hook for cable management and PowerSensor 2 for optimised energy efficiency. So while all that might not sound incredibly exciting, they’re just a good bunch of practical, user-friendly features that will help make life a bit easier.
