Philips Evnia 25M2N3200W Gaming Monitor Review

A Closer Look

The last Evnia monitor is every bit as high-quality and premium as their £1000+ flagship models, with a great-looking design that has very slim bezels on three sides, and while the bottom bezel is larger, it is by any measure still pretty minimal too.

The panel has a good anti-glare coating and while you can see some reflections on it, look at my desk and the surrounding area in this photo and you’ll see just how bright it is in here today, so overall, I think it’s doing a pretty great job.

The stand is really nice too, finished in a dark grey with speckles in the metalwork and paint that gives it a sort of eggshell finish. The stand is durable and heavy, but pretty compact, so it doesn’t protrude from the front of the panel all that much, but you do need a decent amount of clearance behind it.

The ergonomics are very good, with the monitor being able to be pushed low and tilted forward.

While also having a decent maximum height, allowing you to adjust based on how high you sit or how tall you are.

It can be turned left or right without having to move the stand, allowing for quite a significant amount of adjustment either way.

While also having a good amount of backwards tilt.

The stand is mounted using a tool-free clip-in system, but with it removed, you’ll find standard VESA mounting options, so you can wall mount it, put it on an arm mount, or even use your own aftermarket stand.

The back of the monitor is finished in a light grey but also comes with this stunning low-poly look that plays with the ambient light and shadows.

The UI is controlled by an easy-to-reach thumbstick controller, which also can be pressed as the “ok” button or held down to power on/off the display.

For input, you have a choice of two HDMI 2.0 ports, as well as a single DisplayPort 1.4, meaning you could easily hook up your PC and consoles easily enough.
