Phison Showcases E37T Gen5 Controller to Redefine Storage Performance

Phison Electronics has announced the E37T PCIe Gen5 controller, the latest addition to its growing lineup of SSD innovations. Designed for notebooks, handhelds, and compact systems, the E37T delivers high performance, power efficiency, and cost optimization.
E37T: Power-Efficient Gen5 Performance for Everyday Devices
Built using 3D NAND technology, the new E37T controller offers up to 4800 MT/s speeds and a 38% performance boost over previous generations. Its DRAM-less, 4-channel design allows for single-sided M.2 storage (2280, 2242, 2230 form factors), making it ideal for compact laptops and mobile devices that need speed without excess power draw.
“As consumer applications demand greater storage capacity and sustained performance in small spaces, the E37T is designed to deliver power-efficient operation while pushing the Gen5 performance ceiling,” said Michael Wu, President & GM of Phison US. The E37T supports up to 14.7 GB/s reads and 13.0 GB/s writes, achieving exceptional responsiveness for mainstream platforms.
Phison’s showcase at CES 2026 includes its E28 flagship PCIe Gen5 SSD, offering up to 14.9 GB/s reads and 14 GB/s writes for high-end gaming, content creation, and workstation workloads. It also features Pascari X201 and D201 enterprise SSDs, tailored for AI training, analytics, and hyperscale data centers.
In other news, Phison Electronics has also announced expanded capabilities for its aiDAPTIV+ technology, bringing powerful AI processing to notebooks, desktops, and mini-PCs.
