During the first Frontiers Unlocked livestream of 2025, the developers have revealed the whole roadmap that includes what Planet Coaster 2 players can expect when Update 3 is released, and even more updates on updates that follow that! While not the biggest game on my list, I’d rather play something involving politics and war, like Crusader Kings, but for something more lighthearted, Planet Coaster has obviously got its appeal.

Update 3 – March
The March update for the game introduces a variety of new features and improvements. Players can now customise their water rides with features like guest jettisoning and inflatable raft deformation, and add custom audio to any ride.
Additional stock coasters and the classic Vector ride are also added. The update further enhances the game with improved guest movement, scenery rotation options, and career maps in sandbox mode. As with previous updates, ongoing adjustments are made to guest behavior, park economy, management features, stability, and performance.

Update 4 – April
The April update enhances park management with customisable restaurants and expands community features in the Frontier Workshop. Players can now build their own restaurants, browse featured creators and trending content, and access Act 2 Career maps in Sandbox mode. More stock coasters and a new ride are included, along with Franchise mode improvements and ongoing optimizations.

Where to Play
If you are interested in playing Planet Coaster 2 after learning about its upcoming features, you can find it on Steam. Although I have never played the game, I cannot personally recommend it. However, based on the announced content, I may have to try it myself.
