PlayStation 4 / Vita Ultimate Bundle Due For Release This Year

Sony haven’t run out of tricks just yet, with the PlayStation 4 only just released in America and just days away here in Europe. With Christmas a few weeks away, it is expected that Sony will be launching their PlayStation 4 and Vita ultimate bundle before the end of the year, and given the benefits of owning both consoles include remote play, extra interactive features, cross play, and extra content from PlayStation Plus, I can see this deal proving extremely popular, if they get the price right.

With Sony throwing £2.5 million behind the Vita for TV advertising campaigns entitled ‘the best way to play, there is no doubt that they’re going full force this Christmas. The new adverts will promote the benefits of owning the two consoles together.

“We’re really excited for Vita as we move into Christmas,” said senior product manager Ben Law.

“We’ve got a great campaign with key messaging around new releases like Tearaway, the ever-growing game catalogue and the Remote Play service.”

Personally, I’m just ordering the PlayStation 4 right now, a new console is a big investment and buying two at the same time can be a rather daunting investment. However, if Sony do price this competitively, or find a way to sweeten the deal, that could change rather quickly.

You gotta love these folk who are only too happy to give away their money for these things. It’s no wonder MS & Sony are knocking themselves out.
