From this morning, the new monthly games for PS4 and PS5 are available for PlayStation Plus subscribers. However, it seems that several users are encountering problems when trying to redeem and download one of the titles offered: Diablo 4.
Many users have reported on Reddit and other social media platforms that they are unable to claim this game, while there seem to be no issues with the other two titles of the month: Jusant and The King of Fighters XV.
The Issue
Specifically, when trying to access the Diablo 4 page on the PlayStation Store via PS5, the usual button to add the game to the PlayStation Plus collection is missing. Instead, there is an option to “Learn More,” which, when selected, redirects to an error screen.
According to reports from Push Square, this error appears to affect everyone who participated in the Diablo 4 beta before the official launch. Regardless of the cause, this is clearly an issue that Sony will address soon. For now, all we can do is wait for a resolution.
In addition to the free monthly games for July, Sony has also announced a series of bonuses to celebrate the 15th anniversary of PlayStation Plus, which includes trial versions for Premium subscribers and a Valorant pack.
In related news, Sony plans to continue adjusting PS Plus prices as more players opt for Extra and Premium tiers, which now make up 38% of all subscribers.
