Valve has announced the launch date of the highly anticipated, upcoming sequel to Portal. Portal is an award winning title that has won over 30 game of the year awards and is one of the most successful games to be downloaded from Steam.
Portal, when released didn’t exactly go without a hitch, with the title missing its original launch date, but it seems that Valve aren’t going to be making the same mistake with its successor – Portal 2.
With many discussions, and many delays with the sequel, it seems that Valve have finally settled on a release date.
Portal 2, according to Valve will be released on the week commencing the 18th April 2011 and is their shortest delay in Valve history. Personally we at eTeknix feel that delay’s keep things interesting as it keeps you wanting more and more and as it has already, it definitely creates a buzz.
I have only got one question to ask Valve………Where’s the cake?
