PowerColor Teases New DEVIL GPU With Giveaway

PowerColor AMD RX 480 DEVIL

Being an AMD only AIB partner, PowerColor has become well known for their custom Radeon graphics cards. One of their premier brands is the DEVIL lineup, with both highly customized and unique dual-GPU solutions. As part of the upcoming Polaris launch, PowerColor has started off a teaser giveaway, with a new DEVIL graphics card up for grabs.

Given the close timing to the RX 480 and Polaris launch, the card is likely a custom RX 480 graphics card. According to the contest details, PowerColor will announce the winner on July 11th. I expect we’ll also know what the card will be at that point. If the card is a custom RX 480, this suggests that AMD will start letting their AIB board partners sell or at least announce their custom RX 480 graphics cards on that date, a little under 2 weeks after the reference model launch.

There is also a slight chance that we may be looking at a custom 2 x RX 480 graphics card. PowerColor loves to make custom dual-GPU cards like the DEVIL 13 so this card might actually be one of those. The close timing to the Polaris launch suggests otherwise, which is a shame. Either way, you can enter the contest here with just your email. Good luck!
