Players take on the role of Hugh, a man exploring a space station overrun by robots controlled by a rogue artificial intelligence. These enemies are almost impossible to defeat using standard weapons.
However, Hugh is not alone. At his side is Diana, an android who can hack enemies by solving a real-time puzzle. Completing the puzzle exposes the robots’ weak points, allowing Hugh to destroy them. This mix of action and hacking is at the heart of Pragmata’s gameplay.
Pragmata will launch on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S on April 24, 2026. The demo released today lets players try the game ahead of launch and better understand its unique mechanics.
For months, Pragmata has been listed as the most anticipated game in Japan, according to Famitsu rankings, and it now appears to be gaining strong interest from Western audiences as well.
