Power Supply Unit
In true Be Quiet style the Power Zone 1000W is a very nice looking power supply. The aesthetic is dominated by the Silent Wings fan with a fan grille and some plastic edging.
Around the back we find the usual hexagonal mesh, a power switch, kettle lead input and some patterning from the plastic edging materials.
On the connector end the modular connections are all clearly labelled so are easy to follow, we also see three fan ports to allow you to control your fans through the PSU too.
Both sides have a textured black finish with the Power Zone branding on. That branding is flipped on either side to account for different ways of mounting.
On the bottom we find the label with all the rails, watts, amps and certifications detailed.
Cabling
In terms of cabling Be Quiet offer three PCIe cables with two 6+2 pins on each cable, two CPU 8 pins of which one is 4+4 and the other normal 8 and a motherboard 24 pin. The quality of the sleeving is a little dubious and the multi-coloured cabling and connectors leaves something to be desired.
Additional cables include the cables for hooking up fans to the PSU as well as some molex, FDD and SATA connectors.
