Raijintek Thetis Tempered Glass Aluminium Chassis Review

Complete System

Building a system inside the Thetis was far easier than I thought it would be, and it’s strange how the chassis feels small on the outside, yet surprisingly spacious on the inside. I was able to fit a good size tower air cooler in here, a modular ATX PSU, and a Sapphire Nitro+ RX 580, and there’s still plenty of free room in their for decent airflow.

There’s easily room for a large air cooler in here, or you could swap that rear 120mm fan out for an AIO if you really wanted to. You could get a 240m cooler in the top of the chassis, but you wouldn’t be able to use Crossfire/SLI if you did; not that everyone wants to.

The cable routeing is a tough job on this chassis, as not every cable wants to route or bend how you would like on every PSU. Still, what cables are bundled here are all black and easily kept neat with a few cable ties, so they shouldn’t spoil the view through the side panel windows.

The graphics card has plenty of space here, and the wider card we’ve used wasn’t an issue. I like inverted mountings as you get to see the lovely cooler design on your GPU, and that air vent at the top of the chassis should provide all the airflow the card needs too.

Overall, this is a clean looking build on the interior, and with the right cables, you could easily get it looking even better.

With the tinted side panels back on, it doesn’t give up too much of the interior in a brighter room, as it’s quite reflective; still looks great though.

The LED lighting on the rear fan is subtle, it’s not some disco laser beam like some LED fans can be, and it bathes the interior of the chassis is a soft and rather cool looking light.

Throw a few other lights in here, and you could get quite a cool effect, especially with most motherboards and GPUs now coming with RGB lighting built-in.

Around the other side, you can’t see much of the cable routeing at all. You can see some of the RED LED light from the motherboard though.
