Razer and Ubisoft have joined forces this week to reveal the new BlackShark V2 Pro – Six Siege Special Edition gaming headset. This will be the official esports headset for the multi-million player base game, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege. It’s one of Razer’s own existing headsets, but it has been lovingly reskinned with a stylish Six Siege design, on a mostly white headset, with black hardware and stunning orange highlights. It certainly stands out, and while I won’t be playing Six Siege myself, I do like this design.
“If competing is your calling, answer it with the Razer BlackShark V2 Pro—the definitive esports gaming headset, unleashed. Powered by Razer™ HyperSpeed Wireless technology, this triple threat of ultimate mic clarity, audio and sound isolation is the perfect weapon you need to thrive at the highest levels of play.” – Razer
The BlackShark V2 Pro – Six Siege Special Edition retains all the features of the award-winning BlackShark V2 Pro esports headset. This means you get the Razer TriForce Titanium 50mm drivers. These deliver bright sound, rich trebles, and powerful bass, as well as THX Spatial Audio, making them well suited to competitive gaming. There’s also a Discord-certified, removable Razer HyperClear Supercardioid Microphone for crystal clear voice comms.
“The pickup pattern on this detachable 9.9mm mic has more noise rejection from the sides as compared to a cardioid mic, and provides a true recreation of your voice thanks to a sensitive low frequency response and an open microphone housing designed for minimal obstruction. Includes Razer Synapse 3 support for access to advanced mic settings.” – Razer
The Blackshark V2 Pro – Six Siege Special Edition is powered with Razer HyperSpeed Wireless technology for the fastest, most reliable connection, and delivers up to 24 hours of battery life for even the longest of play sessions.
The Razer BlackShark V2 Pro – Six Siege Special Edition is available now directly from Razer.com for $199.99, so not exactly an impulse purchase, but this is a pretty high-end headset to begin with.
