Razer is introducing a different kind of gaming mouse named the Atheris. It is built for portability hence it is wireless and smaller than a typical gaming mouse. Unlike most other Razer mice, the Atheris is also ideal for productivity, not just for gaming.
The Razer Atheris runs off a pair of AA batteries. That is more than enough to operate continuously for 350 hours via Bluetooth. Since it uses replaceable batteries, there is no need to worry about recharging if you need to use it. Just simply replace it with a new pair and continue. It actually comes with a pair of AA batteries so the Atheris is ready to use out of the box.
Aside from the Bluetooth connectivity, the Atheris can also use the 2.4GHz wireless band via an optional dongle. Inside, the mouse uses an optical sensor capable of up to 7,200 DPI with 220 IPS and 30 G acceleration. The ambidextrous design makes it ideal for the majority of users, whether they need it for productivity or gaming. Since it is a Razer product, the scroll-wheel and switches are “gaming-grade”, providing a longer lifespan than a typical productivity mouse.
The Atheris is now available worldwide via the RazerStore at a £54.99 MSRP.
