Razer Stops Selling Laptops in the United States
Recently, the new tariffs imposed by Trump on imports from almost every country have come into effect. These tariffs are already causing some reactions, like pausing the pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 in the U.S. to see how it affects the price. Now, PC and laptop manufacturers are also feeling the impact. One of them is Razer, which has removed its laptops from sale in the United States.
Razer’s Blade 16 Model No Longer Available in the U.S.
Razer recently announced its Blade 16, one of its high-end models. However, it is no longer available for purchase in the U.S. on the company’s website. This isn’t the only model affected. The U.S. store has removed all laptops from the site due to the tariff issues and rising prices. However, Razer still sells its laptops in other countries, along with other products like cases and accessories.
Possible Return of Razer Laptops to the U.S.
Razer has stated that it might resume selling its laptops in the United States if an agreement can be reached regarding the current tariffs. If the situation doesn’t improve soon, other brands may also remove their products from the U.S. market. Unfortunately, it’s the consumer who ends up suffering the most, either by losing access to these products or by facing higher prices.
