Razer SW:TOR Edition Wireless Gaming Mouse Review

The majority of Razer’s peripherals now make use of their innovative cloud based software – Synapse 2.0. This allows you to store all of your settings for all of your Razer peripherals online, so once you have an account and have saved the changes, you can access them from anywhere in the world as long as you have an internet connection (one downside).

The Synapse software follows a similar layout for all of it’s mice. With the SW:TOR mouse, the theme changes to a Star Wars theme, matching the design of the packaging. You can also claim your code to access the bonus colour crystal by using the code generator.

The first tab allows you to change the button configuration, which is very simple to use.

The second tab relates to the performance of the mouse. The sensitivity and the acceleration can all be changed on this page.

The third tab allows you to customise the lighting of the mouse. With this mouse, it is possible to select almost any colour you want, although changing the colour will only affect the light in the scroll wheel. You can also control the brightness from this tab.

The final tab allows you to change the settings power options, such as brightness of the LEDs and the duration until the mouse enters idle mode. This page also shows a battery level indicator.

The macro page allows you to record macros and then using the button configuration page, you can assign it to one of the many buttons.
