Razer teams up with EA to Bring Immersion to Battlefield 6
Razer, a name synonymous with gaming peripherals and cutting-edge tech, has announced a new partnership with Electronic Arts (EA). This collaboration sees Razer becoming the official peripherals partner for the highly anticipated Battlefield 6. The aim of this team-up is to deliver a new level of sensory experience for players diving into the action.
Set in the year 2027, Battlefield 6 is a large-scale multiplayer first-person shooter that promises the franchise’s signature tactical destruction gameplay. With the integration of Razer’s Sensa HD Haptics and Chroma RGB, players can expect to be pulled deeper into the all-out warfare and fast-paced combat.
Feel the Chaos with Sensa HD Haptics

One of the most exciting aspects of this collaboration is the integration of Razer Sensa HD Haptics on PC. This tech provides ultra-low latency, multi-directional feedback that aims to mirror in-game actions accurately. The system features 176 curated haptic effects, meaning you’ll feel everything from the bone-shaking force of a tank shell to the sharp crack of a sniper rifle.
This haptic feedback will be available on a number of supported Razer devices, including:
- Razer Kraken V4 Pro – Wireless Gaming Headset
- Razer Freyja – Wireless PC Controller
- Razer Wolverine V3 Pro – Wireless PC Controller
Víðir Reynisson, Technical Director at DICE, spoke about the importance of this partnership for immersion: “Immersion has always been at the core of Battlefield 6, and collaborating with Razer has given us new ways to deliver it. Sensa HD Haptics turns sound and visuals into something physical; you feel the weight of destruction, the shock of explosions, the energy of combat as it happens. With Chroma RGB, that same intensity reaches beyond the screen, filling your space with light and motion that react to every moment in the fight.”
Light up the Frontlines with Chroma RGB
Alongside the tactile immersion, Razer is bringing its popular Chroma RGB lighting to the battlefield. With 260 dynamic lighting effects that react in real time, your gaming setup will become an extension of the game itself. Imagine your keyboard pulsing with the flash of explosions or your mouse glowing with tracer fire as you fight. This isn’t just for show; the lighting can also act as a visual alert for critical mission updates.
Here is a list of some of the Chroma-enabled devices that will support this integration:
- Razer Kraken V4 Pro – Gaming Headset
- Razer Cobra Pro – Wireless Gaming Mice
- Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro 75% – Gaming Keyboard
- Razer Firefly V2 Pro – Gaming Mousepad
Battlefield 6 is just the latest addition to Razer’s growing immersive ecosystem, which now boasts integrations with over 100 titles.
What We Think
The partnership between Razer and EA for Battlefield 6 is a clever move. While haptic feedback has been a feature in consoles for a while now, Razer’s push to bring it to the PC ecosystem in a big way is what’s truly exciting. The idea of feeling every explosion and gunshot with pinpoint accuracy is genuinely appealing and could add a new layer of immersion to an already intense gaming experience.
The Chroma RGB integration is a cool bonus. We’ve seen similar things with other titles, and it’s always fun to see your peripherals react to what’s happening on screen. It’s not a game-changer, but it definitely makes the experience more engaging. For gamers already heavily invested in the Razer ecosystem, this is a fantastic reason to jump into Battlefield 6 and get the most out of their gear.
Experience the Action for Yourself
If you’re heading to the Tokyo Game Show 2025, you’ll be able to get a first-hand look at this immersive tech at the Battlefield 6 booth. For those in the UK and US, Razer is holding special GameFest events on the 11th of October at its RazerStores in London, Los Angeles, San Jose, and Orlando.
Starting from the 10th of October, fans will also have the chance to get their hands on exclusive Razer-themed in-game cosmetics through giveaways, events, and by purchasing selected Razer products.
