Razer Unveils Huntsman Signature Edition, a $499 Limited Collector Gaming Keyboard
Razer has surprised fans with the announcement of the Huntsman Signature Edition, a keyboard that not only aims for top performance but also positions itself as a high-end collector’s item.
With a price of $499.99, this model becomes the brand’s flagship. Razer justifies the cost with premium materials and some of the most advanced technologies available in the industry.
Premium Design and Limited Production
The most distinctive feature of this edition is its chassis made from CNC-machined and anodized 6063 aluminum. Unlike standard models, this manufacturing process ensures greater durability while keeping a clean and elegant design. In addition, each unit receives a manual finish, offering a build quality that goes beyond typical mass production.
To strengthen its exclusive status, Razer will release only 1,337 individually numbered units worldwide.
On the technical side, the Huntsman Signature Edition includes Razer’s second-generation analog optical switches. These allow full customization of the actuation point, ranging from 0.1 to 4.0 mm, and feature the well-known Rapid Trigger mode, ideal for competitive gaming where every millisecond matters.
The keyboard also includes Snap Tap technology, which prioritizes the latest key press between two keys without needing to release the previous one. This makes precise movements, such as counter-strafing, easier to perform.
Performance is completed with an 8,000 Hz polling rate, reducing input latency to nearly unnoticeable levels. Razer has also improved the keyboard’s acoustics to deliver a more refined key press sound.
