In a true story that seems a bit to “Breaking Bad” for my liking an old white American man was arrested for the possession of a significant amount of methamphetamine. After arresting the man, Robert Short 64, during a routine traffic stop where the man was in possession of $1700 of meth (that’s half a pound) the police went on to search the Short’s home. Down in Fresno Village California, a small retirement community, police found Short’s apartment to be full of meth and to have all the equipment required to cook up and distribute meth.
“When the officers searched the car they located four ounces of methamphetamine in the car, which is a lot of methamphetamine, so that’s consistent with somebody who’s selling,” said Fresno police Lt. Joe Gomez. “Just shocking someone that age would do that, but actually a perfect place to do it, right? Retirement village, who would suspect it going on there?”
Okay so it’s hardly real life Breaking Bad but who’d of thought it? Maybe TV influences people more than you might think!
Who said old people can’t keep up with the latest tech?
