Resident Evil Requiem Remains First in the Steam Charts
The Steam chart confirms that Resident Evil Requiem is still in first place. Capcom’s survival horror had already reached the top thanks to pre-orders alone, and after its official launch it continues to dominate the top 10 of Valve’s digital platform.
ARC Raiders has climbed back to second place, followed by Steam Deck sales. Battlefield 6 has dropped out of the top ten, making room for the return of Baldur’s Gate 3 and ARK: Survival Ascended, which complete the top five.
Resident Evil Requiem Dominates Steam Charts Following Official Launch
The current top ten includes:
- Resident Evil Requiem
- ARC Raiders
- Steam Deck
- Baldur’s Gate 3
- ARK: Survival Ascended
- Marathon
- Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
- Mewgenics
- Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2
- Helldivers 2
Marathon has reached sixth place, helped by strong interest around its recent Server Slam event. The event appears to have convinced many players of the quality of Bungie’s new extraction shooter.
Returning to Requiem, this marks a record-breaking success for the series on Steam. The new chapter has clearly surpassed previous Resident Evil titles in terms of concurrent players.
Of course, it remains to be seen how the game will perform in the coming weeks. However, the feeling is that Capcom’s franchise has made major progress in popularity among PC players.
