Resident Evil Requiem Will Not Include Ada Wong or Chris Redfield, Says Leaker
Resident Evil Requiem will mark the return of a fan-favorite character: Leon Kennedy. However, will there be room for other major figures from the saga? According to a known leaker, the answer is no.
We are talking about Ada Wong and Chris Redfield.
The Leaker’s Comment on Resident Evil Requiem
Dusk Golem, also known as AestheticGamer, stepped in after seeing rumors online that were wrongly attributed to him regarding the presence of Ada and Chris in the new Resident Evil game. The leaker wanted to clear things up.
Dusk Golem explained that he wanted to address the situation immediately and stated that he has “never said” anything about Ada Wong or Chris Redfield being in the game. According to him, this is simply a false rumor circulating online.
I don’t believe Chris or Ada are in Resident Evil Requiem at all either from what I’ve heard, at least in any meaningful way.
In other words, the two characters will likely not appear directly in the game. That said, it is still possible that they could be mentioned by other characters or appear through narrative collectibles found during gameplay.
As always, this information should still be treated as a rumor. While Dusk Golem has often shared accurate details about the Resident Evil series, he has also been wrong at times, so there is always a chance this information is not fully correct.
It will ultimately be up to Capcom to share official details. If Ada Wong or Chris Redfield do appear, the publisher may want to keep it as a surprise.
In other news, Capcom has confirmed that Resident Evil Requiem on PS5 Pro will offer display options including 4K resolution at 60 FPS with ray tracing enabled or up to 120 FPS with ray tracing disabled.
