Yesterday we first heard sources claiming that the highly-anticipated Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti graphics card would officially be launched on May 25th. And while there will, of course, almost certainly be a Founders Edition model, there will undoubtedly also be many AIB partners ready to show off their own custom designs. – Following a report via Videocardz, however, it would appear that MSI might be one of the first with a Polish retailer officially creating a placeholder website for their GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Ventus 3X OC graphics card.
We should note that this placeholder may not be entirely indicative that this retailer is 100% expecting these GPUs imminently. Why? Well because earlier this month we did see (if I’m correct) the exact same model pictured (on their supply crates) while in transit. As such, the retailer might be just getting a little ‘known’ leg work out of the way. On the other hand, however, it’s entirely possible that they are, in the very near future, expecting some stock to arrive!
It is looking increasingly like that May 25th will indeed be the day that Nvidia launches the 3080 Ti. Albeit, it would be remiss of us not to point out that Team Green’s management absolutely loves misinformation. So, until you see Jensen Huang appear with one in his hand, take it all with a grain of salt… For the moment!
