Retailers see unexpected GTX Titan sales

With Nvidia launching the GTX Titan graphics card today, several retailers have seen some quite surprising results.

After speaking with retailers Overclockers UK and Scan, they have both seen a very strong launch with the GeForce GTX Titan with initial strong sales.

With a high price point and a niche market, we all had to wonder how well sales would do and from what we can see, it’s a very good time for Nvidia, their board partners and retailers in general.

Both Scan and Overclockers are expecting stock to arrive within the next weeks so consumers should have plenty of choice for purchasing this mammoth of a card.

I’m surprised. Maybe someone has been lying to me all along about a global recession.

Here’s what you do folks. You got a card that’s worth $600 most, so you TITAN it, then put a magnesium shroud on, and milk it as much as possible till it reaches $900.

If that’s not enough, you even go as far as BIOS flashing it 50 Mhz higher, and putting a stupid “SuperClocked” tag on it to rip off an extra $20…
