Roccat has ventured into video game development this year, but they have not completely forgotten about their gaming roots. However, they are pushing that beyond their previous boundaries as well, especially with their new Khan Pro headset. This is Roccat’s foray into offering a high-end gaming headset announced last month, but it is finally available for purchase.
The Khan Pro features high resolution 50mm drivers delivering excellent gaming, media and sound listening performance. By hi-res, they mean it performs at 40 kHz plus since it is a headset, it also features a handy microphone. It is a “real-voice” microphone with a sensitivity at a 1 kHz: -40dB signal-to-noise ratio: 60 dB THD% @ 1 kHz: 2%.
Since it is a gaming headset by trade, it has to be comfortable as well. Which is why it has oversize memory foam earpads and padding at the band. However, it is lightweight enough at only 230 grams and has 95 degree rotatable hinges for proper fit.
Like any headset worthy of calling itself a gaming product, the Khan Pro is also compatible with consoles. This means the PS4 and Xbox One aside from PC and mobile compatibility.
