RTX 5090, Intel Processor and DDR5 Memory Replace Traditional Gold Wedding Gift

Imagine going to a wedding a celebrating the ultimate happy occasion. No, not the marriage of your two best friends, but the groom getting a free graphics card, such as the Nvidia RTX 5090, a new Intel processor, or a set of memory… well, that’s one just happened at one wedding.
Gaming Gifts
Instead of gifting traditional gifts of gold, he was gifted an Nvidia RTX 5090, Intel Processor, and four sticks of DDR5 RAM. Admittedly, the gold would likely last longer, and if I’m not mistaken that gift would usually go to the wife in this situation. However, it seems this gift was for the groom; I’m sure there were other gifts. I’m more impressed it was an MSI RTX 5090 SUPRIM too, I suppose if you’re going to do something like this, you go big or go bust, but that’s easily one of the best cards of the bunch right now. I couldn’t see the model of the CPU, but hanging the RAM around the brides neck and the GPU around his was an amusing touch.
RTX 5090 or Gold?
Of course, in today’s market, the value of these gifts is pretty wild, this is flexing some serious bankroll, and certainly put a smile on their faces. Admittedly, as the groom is a streamer, they’ve obviously done this for a bit of online clout, and I’d say it’s working rather well. However, he’s already had his fame as it seems he’s a former Half Life champion “Unlost”, so to say he’s a bit of a gamer may be something of an understatement. So, they definitely know their audience in terms of buying gifts.
Still, it’s a day he’ll never forget, and perhaps he’ll spend his wedding night doing what we all dream of, playing games at 4K and high frame rates. Or, maybe spending time with his wife, but frankly that’s his call.
