'Run With Scissors' Custom Paintwork at Mod in Taiwan [Video]

Team Run With Scissors is working hard at Mod in Taiwan, as are the other seven teams they’re competing against. We followed them to the painting rooms at the InWin factory here in Taiwan as they began to put the first few coats on their modded chassis components.

The team did say they’ve still got a few hours of work to do just on the paint work alone, but for those interested in modding, we thought you would love to see how the pros work on their projects.

The noise in the paint room was extremely loud, with the water and air extraction systems, air compressors and the hot ovens behind us all running, although the extreme heat from all of this way also pretty intense.

We’re not sure what the final build is going to look like, but with custom-cut panels and a methodical paint job, we can’t wait to see what the final product looks like when it is (hopefully) finished by the end of the third day of the event.

Please turn down your speakers or headphones before starting the video, as it can be quite loud.
