Sapphire new EDGE-HD2 Mini Net Top gets an upgrade

Sapphire have recently updated and upgraded their standard net top PC (Edge-HD mini) as they bring out their HD2 Mini. The HD2 Mini is essentially made up of an Intel Atom Dual Core (D525)@ 1.8Ghz, NVIDIA ION2 graphics using 512MB of memory along with 2GB of DDR3 RAM and a tightly-packed 320GB hard disk drive. Of course you can also expect built in Wi-Fi along with your standard LAN, USB’s, VGA and HDMI ports. The Edge-HD2 comes with Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit edition along with a VESA mount making it ideal for a HTPC solution at a cost of 350 Euros.

Coming in at 530g and having dimensions of only 19.3×14.8×2.2cm it is currently the smallest net top available. As it has a dual core processor and ION2 graphic technology even HD video is supported, making it a viable option for a HTPC especially for those who would rather buy a small pre-built set-up that easily mounts onto the back of the TV.
