Sapphire Nitro+ Radeon RX 580 8GB Graphics Card Review

The Nitro+ is the top pick of the bunch from Sapphire; it’s got the fastest clocks of their series and the biggest cooler, so it’s no surprise it’s the top of the mid-budget cards here.

It’s just behind the more expensive GTX 1060 (9Gbps edition) here, very impressive.

Again it’s keeping up with the GTX 1060, even at 4K.

Only 2 points in it here, again very impressive. You wouldn’t be able to tell which was which in a blind performance test.

AT 1080p, the Nitro+ blasts into the lead, even beating out the Red Devil RX 580.

Nvidia pulls ahead at 4K, but the new Sapphire card is still the fastest RX 580.

As a child still in my 30's (but not for long), I spend my day combining my love of music and movies with a life-long passion for gaming, from arcade classics and retro consoles to the latest high-end PC and console games. So it's no wonder I write about tech and test the latest hardware while I enjoy my hobbies!
