Scythe have recently introduced new variations of their Gouriki power supplies. The Scythe Gouriki “Naked” power supplies are toned down entry/mid range equivalents of Scythe’s Gouriki 3 power supplies. The still feature 80 PLUS Bronze quality except they have gone for a cheaper overall build aesthetic (not quality) in order to help lower the cost by doing things like leaving the cables unsleeved, having a non-modular design and not painting the power supply unit. What this should ultimately mean for the end user is much cheaper prices on these Scythe power supplies.
The Gouriki Naked power supplies have an extensive list of features for their target market:
In terms of cables there are a 6 pin and 6+2 pin provided across all three wattages and only a single 4+4pin CPU power cable so these power supplies aren’t aimed at high CPU overclocking or more than 1 performance video card / 2 mid range video cards. The only variation between models comes in the numbers of Molex/Sata power connectors. Pricing is $72, $84 and $96.
