The box looks great, and while it looks similar to other Seagate Game Drive products, they’ve obviously added the PlayStation logo and that lovely PlayStation blue to the design too.
There’s a nice and clear photo of the product, as well as a quick run-down of the key specifications, but overall, it’s kept pretty simple.
The drive is well protected, with thick cardboard on the outer box, and a clamshell inner that holds the drive securely with some air gapping for shock protection.
The drive also comes tightly sealed in plastic, preventing dust and moisture from getting to it, and it is bundled with a USB data/power cable too.
The cable is fairly standard, but since it’s a standard connector, it’s easily replaced should it become lost or damaged. Also, the drive requires no external power, so just the USB cable is all that you need.
