Since this drive is based on, or more accurately IS, the Gaming fireCuda 2 TB in new clothes, it’s not surprising that the performance is practically identical to that drive. Obviously, there are some small discrepancies as there are always a few other factors in any benchmark run. However, the performance being right on what I expected is no bad thing either, and while it’s going to take some time to back up larger titles, for those of you on slow internet, backing up and restoring can still be a massive time and data saver.
