See Project CARS 2 Running in 4K on Ultra With Single GTX 1080

Project cars may not have been as much fun as I had hoped, but you have to admit, it’s one incredible looking racer. With Project Cars 2 on the horizon, Nvidia and Slightly Mad Studios are keen to show off the games visual prowess. Nvidia demonstrated the game running at 4K resolution, with ultra settings applied, and hitting a solid 60FPS using the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080. That’s right, not even the new GTX 1080 Ti, so we’re sure the new card should be able to ace this test.

“Class-leading visuals defined by a 1:1 digital craftsmanship, precision physics, and dynamic real-time vehicle, surface, and seasonal conditions. Go beyond reality and experience true-to-life driving immersion with VR and 12K resolution support. Project CARS 2 is as exhilarating and challenging to play as it is state-of-the-art” – SMS

The game does look pretty slick, and while we know it has visual improvements, we’re hoping they remember to put some of the fun back into the game too. What features are you hoping to see in Project Cars 2?
