Sharkoon is introducing their latest addition to the SKILLER gaming family: the SGM2 mouse. Like previous Sharkoon SKILLER products, the SGM2 offers a great bang-for-buck value while having plenty of features.
Although Sharkoon claims that they designed the SGM2 as focusing on essentials, it nonetheless has extras like RGB LEDs. It is also designed for right handed users, with rubberized grip on the sides for proper control. Speaking of proper control, the SGM2 also uses an optical sensor capable of up to 6400 DPI with a 1000Hz polling rate.
Users can also adjust this with four preset levels of 400, 1,200, 3,200 and 6,400 DPI. The LED lit logo at the back actually changes whenever the preset level changes. So users are always aware of what DPI level it is currently set at. A single button at the top of the mouse enables users to cycle through these presets.
Meanwhile, underneath the mouse is a button for cycling through RGB LED colour presets. This adjusts the strip of LED lighting surrounding the mouse from front to back. Moreover, it requires no additional software installation to use. Albeit having no option for further LED lighting customization beyond presets.
The SKILLER SGM2 gaming mouse is now available at a suggested retail price in Europe of only 17.99 Euros
