Sharkoon debuts three USB 3.0 solutions

Sharkoon have introduced three practical USB 3.0 solutions. They are provided through an external 3.5″ bay and they work one of two ways:

  1. Connecting to an internal USB header, so this relies on your motherboard having USB 3.0 support.
  2. Connecting to rear USB 3.0 ports using a pass through cable, this relies on having either rear IO panel USB 3.0 or a USB 3.0 expansion card.

The first option has two USB 3.0 ports and these are powered by two USB 3.0 pass through cables which are to be connected via the back of the case. This retails for €12.54.

The second option has two USB 3.0 ports connected via a single motherboard header. This retails for €11.51.

The third and final option has four USB 3.0 ports connected by two motherboard headers. Retailing at €15.79.
