The straight forward design of the Rex 8 Value made the install process quick and easy, taking around 20 minutes to have the full system installed. The basic cable management may not look fantastic, but it’s doing a superb job of keeping all the excess cable out of the way and general airflow is unobstructed.
There is an excellent amount of space between our GPU and the hard drive bays and very little obstruction from the front intake fan that should ensure good airflow to our GPU.
Most impressive of all is that I was able to fit our Antec 920 Kuhler in with no issues at all, It’s a little close to the CPU cooling block, but that really doesn’t matter.
With the side panel re-installed you can no longer see the cable management cut-outs and the tinted window does a good job at hiding most of the “boring” bits like metal work, connection cables etc. It does however still provide a great view of the cooler, motherboard, graphics card and PSU, and it adds a touch of style to the overall design. It would normally show you the LED lighting of the rear exhaust fan, but since I removed that to make way for the Antec water cooler, it’s a little dark in there.
Around the back of the chassis you can see everything looks neat and tidy, the GTX 560 Ti has plenty of extra ventilation around it and there is more than enough room for a multi-GPU system.
