Available in four different color versions, the new TG5 ATX PC Case by Sharkoon won’t impress you with innovative features or expensive materials, but it offers a pretty good value considering it also comes with a transparent glass front, a tempered glass side panel, and a practical cable management system. The color versions that we mentioned before include green, red, blue, and white, which actually represent the colors of the 120 mm LED fans at the front. These fans come pre-installed from the factory, and they can complement the color schemes of choice for your motherboard, graphics cards, and CPU fans.
For starters, the space between the mainboard and the non-window side panel can be used to conceal all of your cables, but we should also tell you about the case’s tunnel, which can accommodate the PSU as well as up to three 3.5″ hard drives. You can install CPU coolers with a maximum height of 16.7 cm, while the graphics card should not exceed 40 cm. As for the power supply, as long as it doesn’t exceed 20.5 cm, you’re good to go. Dust will have a hard time sticking to your components thanks to a series of pre-installed dust filters, while airflow is taken care of by air vents inserted on each side of the front panel.
You can also install a pair of 140 mm fans or a single 360 mm radiator using the case’s pre-drilled holes. The top panel, however, is large enough for a 240 mm or 120 mm radiator with a total height of up to 6 cm, plus a fan. Last but not least, the top of the front panel offers two USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports and audio connectors for your microphone and headphones.
Retailers will have the Sharkoon TG5 ATX PC case available for €69.90. Worth it or not? You be the judge.
