The packaging and overall product layout for the Fera 5 is instantly recognisable as a SilentiumPC product. It comes with that rather unique style where the main image of the cooler, although primarily on the front, wraps around to the side to give you a nice clear view of what’s contained within.
The remaining sections of the packaging have been well utilised with useful and relevant information placed practically everywhere. Admittedly, the packaging does feel a little cheap. Then again though, this is a budget product and what they don’t waste on the box work can be spent on the far more important factor of what’s actually inside it!
SilentiumPC provides you with all the accessories needed to install this on the compatible AMD or Intel based processors/motherboards. In some nice added bonus’ though, you’re given a second set of fan clips (just in case you want to upgrade this with a 2nd-fan at some point in the future) and also a fairly generous portion of thermal paste which should be good for at least two applications.
