Taking a look at the front of the packaging, we’re automatically greeted with a vibrant blue package with a twin view of the chassis first hand, of which one has a side window which are becoming ever more popular due to watercooling and modifications that users are customising. The Kublai KL04 slogan is also present, explaining that this is a superior mid-tower chassis with incredible storage capacity, which as we know, is what the Kublai series have always been pushed towards. There is also a big push for USB 3.0 as of late, and Silverstone have taken this in mind by slapping a big denotation on the box. Also present on the front are a list of the main features of the KL04 located towards the bottom.

On the side we find a brief introduction about the KL04 and the Kublai series as a whole. The full specifications are also listed and with one thing worth noticing more than ever is that graphics cards up to 17 inches can be installed into this chassis, if the hard drive is installed in front of the card, otherwise you will be restricted to 12.8 inches, which is still fantastic for a mid-tower case.

The rear of the packaging gives a look at the inside of the KL04 and gives us a brief run-down of the main features including smart cable management, the ventilation system that comes preinstalled and more information relating to the hard drive cage, which is also removable.

Inside the packaging is a small box with some added extras including a 5.25″ to 3.5″ fascia bracket, two mounting brackets for a 3.5″ or 2.5″ device, USB 3.0 to USB 2.0 header adapter, a user manual and of course a huge array of screws, fixtures, fittings and cable ties for easy cable management.
