Silverstone Milo SST-ML08B Mini-ITX Gaming Chassis Review

Interior

Right, let’s dive in and take a look at the really cool stuff! Lurking under the top panel you’ll notice there’s a good amount of space on the interior, with the left section being used for storage thanks to two quick-release 2.5″ hard drive bays., as well as room in the bottom left for a slim ODD drive.

On the right, you’ll find room for the mini-ITX motherboard, as well as pre-installed stand-offs and even cable routing spaces to make installation nice and easy.

That’s right, despite its small size, there’s actually dedicated cable routing space in this chassis, which I personally think is amazing! the PSU mounts on the left, which is obviously going to have to be an SFX form factor unit. There are two cable routing holes that allow you to pass cables from the PSU to the motherboard.

The AC pass-through is simple enough, allowing you to have the PSU mounted on the side of the chassis, yet keep the mains cable coming out of the back of the chassis where it cannot be easily seen. It’s also nice to see all-black or braided cables used, especially if you’re opting for the model with window panels, as this will enhance the visuals of the build.

Extra care has been taken to allow you to channel cables.

There’s even an extra cut-out to pass cables through to the GPU mounting compartment on the other side.

This small slot here is for the GPU riser card, allowing the GPU to be mounted in the other side of the chassis parallel to the motherboard.

This small flap here is the tool free lock for the optical drive bay.

There’s loads of room here for your GPU and more than enough room for many high-end graphics cards such as the 980Ti and even some of the biggest cards on the market such as the Sapphire Tri-X range.
