SilverStone’s NT01 Pro has a heatsink design which has quite wide spacing, this is to allow for passive operation as well as active. You have to put the fans on this side of the heatsink (the inside) there are no supported fan mounting options for the outer part of the heatsink as far as I can see.
The base features six 6mm heat pipes all very nicely soldered to the entirely nickel-plated base.
Here you can see in more detail how high quality the construction looks. I am really quite excited about the potential for performance here, although, the slanted design of the cooler does theoretically seem like it might be of detriment to cooling performance.
The top of the contact plate has some grooves on it which are needed for the provided mounting system.
As you may have noticed, there are no fans included here. This is because this product is provided without fans, you are meant to supply your own should you wish to use fans with this.
