SilverStone Released FW141 and FW181 Slim Profile Fans

SilverStone has just released their newest fans for use where limited space is an issue. The FW141 and FW181 are the newest fans in the FW series that offers high-quality fans designed for optimal acoustic performance at an affordable price. The fans use a 4-pin PWM connector to allow supporting motherboards and fan controllers to adjust the speed and only have the fans running at a speed that’s necessary and the slim design prevents many conflicts as well as just create more free space inside your chassis. The two new FW models are equipped with P.C.F bearing (Powder Copper Fluid bearing) and come bundled with a speed reduction cable.


The FW141 is a 140mm fan with a slim profile of 13mm thickness designed for use on 120mm based cooler or radiator that have limited space. It has a speed between 800 and 1300rpm, an airflow from 32.5 to 74.6CFM, and a noise level of 19.1 to 34.2dBA.


The FW181 is an 180mm fan with a slim profile of 18mm thickness designed for use in limited space. It has a speed between 500 and 1200rpm, an airflow between 40.38 and 171.1CFM, and a noise level from 16.1 to 39.5 dBA.
