SilverStone’s SFF case is already quite popular, and it’s not hard to understand why as it features a simple yet practical and compact design. The brand has recently unveiled an updated version of the SFF, namely the Raven Z case, which can now accommodate full-size ATX PSUs. The RVZ01B-E chassis weighs in at 3.7 kg and measures 382 x 350 x 105 mm, but even though it incorporates a standard ATX (PS/2) power supply bay, the PSU must not exceed 150mm in length, otherwise it simply won’t fit. Actually, SilverStone recommends that you go with a 140 mm long PSU and use the extra space for cable management, which certainly makes sense.
As far as looks are concerned, the Raven Z is not too different when compared to regular SFF cases, as its front panel features two USB 3.0 ports, an audio out port and a mic in port. When it comes to drive bays and fan slots, the case includes four 2.5-inch bays as well as three 120 mm fan slots. The Raven Z PC case flaunts a sturdy steel body as well as a reinforced plastic shell, and even though we don’t know much about its availability at the time of writing, we do know that it will likely cost $79.99.
