Skyrim Creation Kit and Workshop are upon us

Bethesda have just let loose a video showing some of the features available in the soon to be released Skyrim Creation Kit, also demonstrated in the video are some of cool features and functionality of the new Steam Workshop that will be available with it and how it will be integrated with the Creation Kit.

Bethesda go on to say “With each game we release — Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3, and now Skyrim — modders continue to use our worlds as a canvas to build the most incredibly creative and fun mods in gaming. The fact that Morrowind’s modding community is still going strong 10 years after its release is a testament to how essential our community is to the success of our games.”

I’m really looking forward to the release of this, not only to try my hand at making some content for the game, but the ease of access to new content that comes with it, along with its new mod update system, which in it’s self is a really exciting new feature.  Elder Scrolls has one of the largest and most creative mod communities out there, who have made amazing progress on modding the game without these tools.

Going on what Bethesda have laid out in previous updates over the last month it could only be a matter of days before we get our hands on the software, so we will keep you updated as it happens.
