We’ve seen a lot of weird and wonderful things at this year’s CES 2016, but this one really made me wonder “why?” The smart wheel is a device that can help monitor how safe you drive, but I can’t help but think it’s a little redundant. The Smart Wheel straps to your wheel, and it doesn’t look especially attractive. It can monitor your hand position to tell you how safe your driving is, which is no bad thing, but I can’t help but wonder who’s actually going to buy this product?
I’m all for safety and learning tools, but I guess I can’t see the angle on this product. Would you have the Smart Wheel installed in your car, or do you think theirs a professional application for the device in today’s market? Let us know in the comments section below.
