Nintendo has a variety of games which are unique to its consoles and handheld game devices. None more iconic than Pokemon and Super Smash Bros. The first being a game about a young man adventuring and collecting a series of creatures while stopping evil organisations from abusing those creatures for personal gain. The latter being Nintendo sticking every character they deem worthy into an arena in the hopes of creating entertainment. Since I have played Super Smash since it was first released, I can say one thing. They succeeded.

With the last major update, Mewtwo was released to owners of the Wii U and 3DS version of the game while others could purchase Mewtwo (with a discount for owning one of the two game variants). This was the first add-on for the game series and recent data mining efforts seem to point two more classic characters joining the fray.

Roy, as seen in the video below, is a sword fighter from Nintendo’s Fire Emblem game series. Roy has appeared before in the game series, making his first appearance alongside his fellow swordsman Marth in Super Smash Bros Melee for the Gamecube.

The second character is not one of Nintendo’s making, instead Ryu from the Street Fighter series will be making an appearance with his famous Hadouken move being revealed (thanks to a copy cat Kirby voice clip). He can once again be seen in the video below.

The only real question now is, how much will these fighters cost you?
