Sony Adds Helpful Price Transparency Feature to PlayStation Store
Sony has been gradually updating the PlayStation Store with new features. Recently, user reviews and other small improvements were added, slowly making the online store easier to use. In the past few hours, another useful feature has been introduced.
A New Price Information Window
The new feature is an information box that appears when users click the small “i” icon next to a product’s price. After clicking it, a small window opens showing details about the product’s price and release date. It also shows the lowest price the item has had in the past 30 days.
This gives customers an extra tool when deciding whether to buy something. With this feature, it is now easier to understand if a discount is truly a good deal.
This update improves transparency and helps users avoid offers that only seem convenient at first glance. It is a simple addition, but one that can make a real difference when shopping on the PlayStation Store.
Hopefully, Sony will continue to improve the store with more features like this, making the service clearer and more user-friendly.
In other news, Sony has patented a “Soft Pause” feature that modifies local multiplayer game difficulty during interruptions without freezing the game for others.
