The Speedlink Parthica is certainly one of the more affordable gaming keyboards on the market, as you can pick one up from CCL Computers for just £34.99 +£3.95 shipping. This is pretty good value for money given the overall range of features on the keyboard.
Overview
I have mixed feelings about this keyboard, without a doubt there’s nothing wrong with it, but on the other hand it doesn’t really excite me either. However, I think Speedlink has done a very good job of packing in a lot of practical features that can be very beneficial to PC gamers, without attaching a hefty price tag and I’m certainly happy with that aspect.
The design is obviously tailored towards a gaming audience, but I can’t help thinking that it looks and feels a little cheap; which is once again perfectly acceptable, because it is priced to reflect this. If you want a better looking keyboard than the Parthica with the same level of features, then you can easily go and spend another £30 for one, but I doubt you would feel any difference in terms of performance, so in that respect, the Parthica is very good value for money overall.
